Amstelveen is a green city, located in the province of North- Holland, south of Amsterdam. The municipality includes Amstelveen, Bovenkerk,Nes aan de Amstel, Westwijk and the western part of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. On January 1, 2011 Amstelveen had 81.8121 inhabitants. Performing arts there is the Theatre, P60 and the puppet theater. Along with all this there is a cinema and it is all located in the shoppingmall "Stadshart Amstelveen". This is an indoor shopping center with more than 200 luxury stores such as Bijenkorf, Zara, Guess, Cavallaro Napoli, Pandora, Bjorn Borg, Triumph and Rituals. Amstelveen city center is easily accessible by public transport and by car, there is enough parking space.

The municipality of Aalsmeer is situated in the province of North Holland and is close to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Hoofddorp, Uithoorn and Amstelveen. Over 30,000 people living in Aalsmeer. Besides the floriculture there is industry. There is a factory of packaging materials and in Aalsmeer they built luxury yachts.
Aalsmeer is also known by several major television shows from Joop van den Ende. Joop van de Ende has established his television broadcast in the 90s one of the old flower auction of Aalsmeer in the center. Since late 2011, the studio turned into Crown Business Studios Aalsmeer and more than 20,000 square feet has been designed as office and meeting space.

Aalsmeer has six districts / village councils: : 'De Dorper', Hornmeer, Kudelstaart, Oost, Stommeer en Uiterweg/Westeinderplassen. There are eight primary schools, two VMBO schools and one MBO education.




Hoofddorp is a city in the province of North Holland and it is also the capital of the Haarlemmermeer. Because of the convenient location near Schiphol, Hoofddorp has many business parks and office parks with national and transnational enterprises.

It is a young place and therefore there are just a few historic buildings. Other attractions include the Old Town Hall that serves as the theater and theater Meerse. The Historical Museum displays the history of Haarlemmermeer.

Hoofddorp has a large shopping center. There are over 300 stores in the center. Large stores like V & D, H & M, The Sting, Saturn and Primark have a branch here. Hoofddorp also has a large hospital "The Spaarne".
